| Looking south along the main on the Yazoo Sub, this section of track just north of Bentonia, MS has concrete ties and the device you see up ahead there is the hotbox defect detector at MP 192.7. Growing up, I would hear this detector at my grandparents house in Bentonia, back when it said "IC detector!", I believe it now says the obligatory "CN detector!". |
